Okay, this is a tasteless gag that I’ve wanted to do for a while now. Seriously, this HAPPENS! You bend down to drop your pants, let one slip and end up sitting down where your head is right where you just fumigated. It’s a cruel but horrible reality.

Okay, I couldn’t resist doing this gag. If you’ve read this lil’ strip for any length of time, you’re well aware that I’m hardly the best speller in the world and I have the occasional problem using the wrong version of “They’re” or “It’s”. And while I’m goofing on all of you guys who regularly correct me, I’m also goofing on myself, so don’t take it TOO seriously. :)

We inturrupt our regularly scheduled TOTAL CHAOS to bring you something a little different! Above, you will notice that instead of a regular guest strip, we’ve got this weeks installment of Will Rodriguez’s MANGLED STARE! The hero of Will’s comic, The Mighty Mangler is also a recurring character in THIS very strip, and occasionally calls upon Bernard to babysit his kids.
It’s been a while since Bernard has been tasked with watching the Mangulario kids, but RECENT EVENTS over in Will Rodriguez’s “MANGLED STARE” have forced the burrito-loving hero to call upon the babysitting skills of our own Mr. Brooks and Company. Check out “MANGLED STARE” for the whole story AND a cameo by Bernard that will lead directly into next week’s strips right here!

Mimo Mangulario is a devoted husband and loving father of three. He’s ALSO a part-time superhero known as the MIGHTY MANGLER and the star of the online comic, “MANGLED STARE” by Will Rodriguez!
Many moons ago, back when Dandy and Bernard became super heroes of their own, they teamed up with the Mangler to help fend off an ALIEN INVASION! It wasn’t long afterwards that the Mangler needed a babysitter and remembered the one-time Cosmic hero, “Kid Cosmic” and his pre-teen alter-ego, Bernard!
I DO so hate the occasional need for exposition in the strip, so I tend to draw an obnoxious amount of attention to the idea… It’s one of TWO lines that break the 4th wall in this strip. I also feel the need to mention the idea of Future Mistake, who has been brought up a bunch of times in the forum as a possible suspect in the identity of the mystery trucker.
