Pinkbellies huh, I haven't heard that word since the Bite Club story arc, which it was also the last time Snuffles show himself up. ;)

Hmm.... a possible clue with the cats racial slurr "pinkbellies", along with metioning "re-education", just like Snuffles (who re-educated dogs with mind control kool-aid)? ...Or simply a red herring?

I want Snuffles to be the good guy for a change. :???:

And Mistake doesn't know he doesn't have a home to go to. :(

On another note you know Mr Fuzzy isn't walking away from this fight unscathed. Hell he had his foot chopped off in yesterdays strip.

Yeah, the cat's use of the word "pinkbellies" could just be a coincidence, but I think that might be a bit of a stretch.

Regardless, experience alone should be enough to suggest that there's probably something bigger going on.

I just love Mistake's adorable innocence in this conversation. "Oooh! Like school?" :D Pure charm. And that's how he's going to win the argument.

It's kinda hard to get around the Snoodle's constant use of pinkbellies and re-education. It would seem Snuffles would be involved in this. Still maybe that's what DF wants us to think. Or maybe he wants us to beleive that that was what he was thinking or....AUGH...my head hurts. No more speculating for me, I'll just wait and see what develops.

While Mr. Fuzzy HAS been damaged in this throw down, his foot wasn't chopped off... He was punching the Cat-Tomaton in the chest UNDER the claw swipe.

And while I'm glad you all noticed the use of "pinkbellies" and "re-deucation", there's another clue in the dialouge linking THIS story in some way to that past story.

Would that be "human ownership"?

Not really. I tag that up with the whole "PinkBelly" thing. It's a part of the gag of "BITE CLUB" being a goof on "FIGHT CLUB". After a while, Fight Club morphed from an underground boxing club for disenfranchised men into an anarchy movement called "Project Mayhem".

Feel free to connect dots as you see fit. ;)

And we all know cats don't believe themselves to be the pets of humans... Hmmm...did someone take Snuffles' drug-laced juice after Dandy beat him?

I think the mind control kool-aid had only temporary effects, and would need to be drank again to keep the effects going. ...Kinda like the mind control serum they used on Lady Deathstrike, Magneto and Nightcrawler in X-Men 2.

But the serum apparently had lasted a while, for Nightcrawler to get all the way to Washington DC, and inside the White House. Even the kool-aid lasted a while (remember when Maryweather called Audrey "pinkbelly" despite being nowhere near Snuffles and kool-aid?).

Snuffles' mind control Kool-Aid effects wore off over time. Exactly HOW much time is largely irrelevant except to say that anyone who was influenced by it during the "Bite-Club" story is WAAAAYYYY over it.
