Lost her

I have to admit, that there has been a good degree of questioning as to WHY I’m showing what’s going on from Dandy & Maryweather’s perspective and I am most certainly doing it this way on purpose.

Throughout this CRAZY long storyline, you dear readers have been questioning, re-questioning and re-re-questioning Snuffles’ motives and his part in all of this just like Maryweather is doing here and I don’t plan on ending that anytime soon. It’s FUN!

So, even though this storyline is very nearly finished, I just thought it would be a little fun to leave in mystery EXACTLY what happened down that hallway. Is Maryweather right? Is Snuffles telling the truth? Did something entirely different happen? I hate to say it, but i’m not telling just yet. I’ve got some fun plans for Snuffles now and keeping this little slice of mystery just sweetens these plans.

Heh heh heh.

Escape: Very possible

While it was fun introducing Calpurnia and letting her escape, one major aspect of this story that’s been in the back of my mind was that I KNEW that the Evils were going to use this adventure as an opportunity to escape and, as such, become legitimate threats to the strip again.

I mean, they’re not gonna be back next WEEK, but I like knowing that they’re out there again. heh heh heh.

Loose Ends

UPDATE: After weeks of unemployment, I finally got a great (albeit freelance) gig this week that’s taken up a lot of my time, and as such, Friday’s strip will be up later this afternoon, after I get home from the job. Sorry for the delay.

New digs

For the time being, Mistake and Mr. Fuzzy will be taking up residence in the Brooks household, and you should all be happy that I haven’t left Mr. Snoodles for dead…. just ALMOST dead. (But from this point out, can we just assume that Mistake turns him over to F.I.E.L.D., ‘cuz I don’t want to DRAW that scene.)

Also, as we’ve come to the conclusion of this tale, and I’ve got a new (Albeit temporary, freelance) gig absorbing a lot of my time, I’ve fallen behind on the strip and am taking a weeks vacation to get a little caught up. As such, new strips will pick back up on September 8th! Thanks and enjoy.
