Udder Big Brudder

Here’s yet another link-a-rific history lesson. This time, on the “Matter Recombobulator” that Dandy’s talking about in today’s strip. It first appeared, being wielded by Evil DANDY in THIS strip.

It was a device, seemingly designed by Evil Dandy that could transform whoever it was aimed at into whatever it’s user could imagine. It would show up again over time, but it’s ORIGIN would be revealed in THIS strip.

And the Cat came back!

I decided to use this upgrade of Mr. Fuzzy to change the typeface I use for his dialogue. That said, It’s tricky trying to balance different aspects of any given story without loosing track of the others.

Mr. Fuzzy: Version 4.0

This newest version of Mr. Fuzzy is inspired by two main sources. One being my love of the TV show, MYTHBUSTERS, so I wanted Mr. Fuzzy to really look like something put together with what Mistake had available… A robot where his look is secondary to function. The second influence was the OVER detailed robots of the recent TRANSFORMERS movie. I really enjoyed that movie, but thought that the designs were VERY confusing with all that detail. I wanted a LITTLE bit of that feeling of complexity, without the obnoxious “What am I looking at? Is that an elbow?” vibe of the movie.
