He still goes to School?

Yes, Bernard DOES still go to school. Of course, only when it’s problematic to the plot in general. I’m a sadistic cartoonist that way. I’d also like to remind you all to check out the online comic, “MANGLED STARE” by Will Rodriguez.

Many moons ago, back when Dandy and Bernard became super heroes of their own, they teamed up with the Mangler to help fend off an ALIEN INVASION! It wasn’t long afterwards that the Mangler needed a babysitter and remembered the one-time Cosmic hero, “Kid Cosmic” and his pre-teen alter-ego, Bernard!

Bernard quickly became the Mangler’s “Go To” babysitter, and remains so to this day. (Thanks to CYPO in the forums for compiling this link list for me.)

Define: “Handle”

I really hate exposition, but the layout of this storyline requires Bernard to essentially say “Mr. Mangulario left his kids with me to baby-sit.” in pretty much every strip. It’s irritating to write around, but essential to keep all of you readers updated on the premise.

Retraction

This strip doesn’t have so much of a punchline as a “D’oh” moment for Dandy. On a side note, I really like when I have the opportunity to really draw Dandy and Maryweather sitting in a single chair.

Total Chaos by Roman Wunderlich

Today’s entry is a strange one in that it was requested from cartoonist, Roman Wunderlich, by one of our forum regulars, “Dogstar_Reeves”. It’s also flippin’ BEAUTIFUL… even though I have NO IDEA what these references mean. Well, I mean, I’m aware of the existence of the Anime, InuYasha (Mostly due to LOTS of people dressed up like this carrying MASSIVE cardboard swords, knocking over people’s displays.) but I don’t get the hacking off of the arm thing. But it’s, as previously stated, flippin’ BEAUTIFUL!

Now, Roman is the creator of an online comic called “B Movie Comic”. Since “Dandy & Company” is an all ages comic, It’s important to point out that “B Movie Comic” is NOT, and not necessarily kid-friendly. So parents, do your jobs… decide for yourself inThe B Movie Comic is appropriate.
