UPDATE! ‘TIS THE SEASON TO HELP SUPPORT YOUR FAVORITE COMIC!

And, of course, by that I mean “DANDY & COMPANY”! That’s right, you can help make the holidays brighter with a donation to help support the comic and this website.

So, let me say “THANKS” in advance. It’s your support that makes drawing the adventures of Dandy, Bernard and the rest worth it and every little bit helps. If you have any questions or comments, drop me an email at derrick@dandyandcompany.com or gimmie’ a holler in the Official Forums!

Lately, Scott Kurtz over at PvP has been experimenting with the occasional EXTREME and dynamically lit close up. It’s a technique I’m betting was inspired by his buddy, Frank Cho, who did so occasionally in HIS comic strip, LIBERTY MEADOWS. I love it every time I see it, so I decided to give it a shot myself, hack that I am. He He… shadows are fun!

And thanks again to Will Rodriguez for letting me play with his toys once again. So don’t forget to check out his HOME at Wil’s online comic, MANGLED STARE!

Dandy & Company’s COMMUNITY THEATER is BACK! With the return of the commissions program, I’ve generated enough original art to keep the Sunday’s filled up throughout the end of the year. So, in a way, this is YOUR day now!

And you can be a part of the fun by making a request for your OWN ORIGINAL “Dandy & Co.” ART! It’s an original, hand drawn “D&C” piece made to YOUR specifications, and NOW that the commissions will be fueling Sunday’s around here, you can REALLY be a part of the action. Just click here for details!

On November 18th, 2007, Mike Maihack’s COW from his webcomic, COW and BUFFALO, transported himself right out of his own comic. Now he’s somewhere out there on the web, not so desperately trying to make his way back to his pet brontosaurus, Bronto, who he forgetfully left up in the clouds (”it’s a long story,” is an understatement).

Seeing as how this kind of thing happens more than a little bit arond THESE parts, it just seemed natural for Cow to make a little more than a cameo hereabouts. Anywho, be sure to check out COW and BUFFALO.

OPEN CALL FOR GUEST STRIPS!

The new year is right around the corner, and with it comes the return of new “DANDY & COMPANY” strips five days a week. But more than THAT, it also marks the return of “TOTAL CHAOS” in a whole new way!

Starting January 5th, every saturday will be devoted to all-new guest strips from folks JUST LIKE YOU! In the past, I marked the anniversary of the strips online premier with a week long collection of guest strips called “Total Chaos”, but starting in 2008, I’ll be presenting “TOTAL CHAOS SATURDAYS!”

So if you’ve got a snazzy new “Dandy & Co.” strip in you, send it in and share it with the world!

By submitting a guest strip to “Dandy & Company” you are agreeing to the use of said strip for any purpose by myself, Derrick Fish, including but not limited to print collections or promotional purposes.
