Dandy & Company’s COMMUNITY THEATER is BACK! With the return of the commissions program, I’ve generated enough original art to keep the Sunday’s filled up throughout the end of the year. So, in a way, this is YOUR day now!

And you can be a part of the fun by making a request for your OWN ORIGINAL “Dandy & Co.” ART! Boy, I haven’t used THESE two characters in a while, have I? With any new character I introduce, the hope is that their character will inspire stories and to be sadly blunt, Herb and Charlotte here have given me VERY few ideas. Still, I don’t want you guys to TOTALLY forget about them.

Charlotte was first introduced as a kind of bully to pester Bernard, but didn’t last long in that capacity since Bernard regularly survives DANDY’S attention and the occasional alien invasion. You can check out her introduction story by clicking here.

When I brought the strip down to it’s current, three-day-a-week schedule, one of the BIGGEST casualties were all the secondary and tertiary characters like George and Mae, and Herb and Charlotte. And I haven’t been happy to shuffle them aside simply because there was so much less TIME to tell stories with them which was a decent sized part of just WHY I’ve decided to bring the strip back to a five-day-a-week schedule again come January.

I hope to remind you all about the “COMPANY” in “Dandy and Company”.
