It’s friday the thirteenth, and Dandy’s a demon. This is kismet. lol

It’s ALSO the stopping point for the previously announced hiatus. I know that I originally said I was going to end the storyline first, but here’s the scoop. UNLIKE the joke in today’s strip, I’ve had Dandy’s solution to this crisis firgured out for WEEKS. And in reality, it would actually only take a few more strips to wrap this up as it was planned. But I had some other ideas in the intrim, and am at a crossroads as to how I want this to end: Short and funny, or EPIC and funny with more action and adventure. THAT’S where I’m stuck, and I don’t want to force the issue on myself. SO, it made for a good stopping point for me to take some time and do this story justice.

Thanks, as always, for bearing with my as I need to take some time away from the regular grind.

Hey there, folks. Since it’s been a month since the last time I gave you an update, I thought I’d pop in and let you know where things are at. And as of right now, they’re not in a good place.

Just over a year ago, my Grandfather passed away after a lenghty battle with Parkinsons disease and it really took a chunk out of me. Over the last few weeks, I’ve barely been in my own home as my GrandMOTHER’S health has taken a severe turn for the worse. I’ve been spending as much time as possible caring for her, much to the detriment of my ability to work. I’ve not drawn a frame of Dandy or Tails to Amaze in a month, and have missed MORE than my fair share of my day job because of this.

Just the other day, my Grandmother recieved vital heart surgery that seems to have made a noticable difference in her health, and I hope this also allows me to get back to my own life a little more. Still, I wanted to pop in and let you all know that I haven’t forgotten that this story is still unfinished. Thanks again.
