
For the record, this is REMARKABLY similar to my first job at Bernard’s age. I was a trainee for a whole day at a local Carvel Ice Cream shop in New York and I thought it was gonna be the best job EVER! But, much like Bernard, simply couldn’t make a decent spiral soft-serve ice cream cone to save my life! I never got as far as Bernard HERE, but did fill about 5 buckets full of wasted ice cream displaying my INCREDIBLE lack of dexterity and hand/eye co-ordination. I left after my first day, never successfully making an ice cream cone that didn’t look like utter poop.
