When I originally wrote this, the 3rd panel had bernard saying: “Hmm, maybe THIS will help.” and in response to Mistake’s cry of “He’s Reacitn’!!”, Bernard would have said: “Indeed… GASP he IS…”
It was plenty funny, but kind of made my statement a few strips ago about Bernard not being quite as DUMB as he has been seem like a lie. Now, while it isn’t said straight out, there’s the implication that Bernard willingly walked into his choking because he knew that NEW anger would snap Dandy out of it. He’s taking one for the team, as it were.
ALSO, I want to congratulate Dandyphile, Eric Agena? for winning the raffle! Look for Eric to show his mug in an upcoming strip! And thanks to everyone who participated!
