Yes, the purpose of all science is to inspire Dandy with new variations of pranks. In this strip, I had a tough choice to make regarding Mistake’s speech patterns. Since everything has advanced a year, I debated on if I should clear up his goofy little kid speech and have him talk more normally. As you can see, I chose the path of funniest dialouge.

UPDATE: Hey there, everyone.
As many of you know, this is about the time I start bugging you all for guest strips for the strips online anniversary in October. Well, this year I’m not going to be putting out that particular call for a little while still. Since I’ve just started a whole new storyline and am making significant changes to the status quo and appearance of the core characters, it seems like a bad time to take off. I think I need to put in more time to re-estalishing everything before that right now.
I’m thinking, right now, of pusing TOTAL CHAOS back to after Christmas this year, but will keep you all posted.

Yes, the strip has been very gag-centric of late. I figured that after months of tight continuity with BEANIE-QUEST III, everyone could use some sorbet before getting too heavy into another plotline, cosmic or not. Plus, it’s fun for me to begin and end a concept all in one day.

I think it’s long past time to focus a little bit on our very own Audrey McKimmson here. Those of you new to the strip might need to hop on through the archived to learn a little bit about the history of Audrey’s comic strip, “Diablo Dog and Beanie Boy”… a thinly veiled parody of Dandy and Bernards antics.

By this point in their relationship, Audrey isn’t fooled into thinking Dandy REALLY cares, but she’s still shocked by just how mean he can get. You’d think she’s just hit him as soon as she saw him nowadays, but where’s the set up for other gags THERE? I have to have SOMETHING to do.
