Well, STAR WARS has conquered the galaxy, but the folks in THIS line seem to be about a week behind. It’s almost like the cartoonist made some kind of scheduling ERROR. No, that can’t be the case. I know, since this story is all about changes to the timeline, what MUST have happened, is that the alterations to the fabric of time have caused Episode III to come out a week late in the Dandyverse.
Yeah, that’s the ticket! YEAH!

In spite of the topic of today’s strip, I really don’t want to ramble on about STAR WARS, Episode III.

I loved it! It was a great end to a great story and I’m still going through geek-withdrawals realizing that no new movies are planned for the future.

Still, I had to poke fun at the idea that we ALL know that at some point, probably after George Lucas dies, SOMEONE will make another trilogy. It’s about as inevitable as rain in the afternoon in Florida in the summer. That said, I’ve got my OWN epic, cosmic tale to be told here.

The art used in Panel 3 today was the work of another participant in 24 Hour Comic day this year. “Liquid” here pronounced this little guy’s name as “Mr. Rice”, but spelled it as seen in the panel. I don’t know WHY. 24 Hour Comic day makes for some strange stories.

As for me using it, I was just SO tired of constantly re-explaining things, that I decided to just get weird for a day and not worry about it. Sometimes, the depth of the plots can become cumbersome when they need to be explained to more than one character.
