It should be pretty clear by now that BEANIE-QUEST II is, at it’s heart, a Super-Hero adventure. Ya’ see, when I’m NOT drawing talking dogs and kids with beanie-hats, I’m drawing super-heroes! I’m been a Comic book junkie since I learned to read, and the adventures of Super-Man, Spidey and the rest still thrill me.
So, in a way, this story line is my way to give a bit of a nod to the medium I love, while poking a healthy degree of fun at it at the same time.
